Wild wolves in the United States

UPDATE: Urge Congress To Protect Gray Wolves!

Take Action

Friend,

Do you think vulnerable gray wolves deserve to be protected from trophy hunters and other threats to their survival? So do countless Americans who support the Endangered Species Act and want to see imperiled species thrive. But right now, Congress is trying to axe ESA protections for gray wolves and abandon them to the mercy of brutal trophy hunters.

Will you take just two minutes now to help protect gray wolves from being hunted to extinction? Send a message to urge your legislators to preserve ESA protections for wolves before it’s too late.

Take Action

Recently, a Wyoming man was justly indicted for extreme animal cruelty after running down a gray wolf with his snowmobile, dragging her to a local bar and tormenting her for hours before shooting her to death. But this disgusting act of violence is not an isolated incident. Wyoming and other states with crucial wolf populations have slashed legal protections for this keystone species, allowing cruel hunting methods, and putting forward anti-scientific mass-killing programs that threaten wolf conservation.

Despite the relentless attacks, we’ve still been able to win some important victories: A federal judge ruled that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service broke the law when it denied lifesaving protections for wolves in the Northern Rockies. But these wolves’ lives are still at stake, and the future of this species nationwide is too. We must continue to act until all gray wolves’ federal protections under the ESA are restored and strengthened across their entire habitat.

Please don’t wait. Wolves are still under merciless attack. Take action by sending a message to your legislators now.

Thank you for acting to end animal cruelty,
