Mike Rounds is upside down with South Dakota voters.

The latest independent poll shows that after thirty-two years in elected office, only 35% Approve of the job Mike Rounds is doing, while 44% Disapprove. That is a net negative rating for a man who has taken this seat—and South Dakotans—for granted for over three decades.

Mike Rounds is weak, and his party knows it.

The problem is, a Democrat will not win here. They start nearly 20 points behind and they’re just unpopular with folks in South Dakota. But I am not a partisan. I am a retired Lt. Colonel and former Park Ranger who is running to tell the truth and take care of your neighbor.

That common-sense message is why, when voters hear my story, I quickly lead Mike Rounds 43% to 35%. So I’m asking if you will join a campaign that can win by pitching in $5, $10, or more to support me today.

I understand that Mike Rounds has the money and the corporate PACs on his side. But he has lost the trust of the people he serves and the people who voted him into office cycle after cycle. We have identified the winning coalition by winning 59% of Independents and convincing 22% of Republicans to break from the establishment.
