John, because of this grassroots team’s support, we hit our October fundraising goal and kicked off the first month of Q4 strong.
That means we’re entering the election year with real momentum. Every dollar we raise helps strengthen our people-powered campaign and stand up to corporate PACs, AIPAC, and the would-be oligarchs.
So truly, thank you. We couldn’t do this without you.
But I also want to take a moment for a gut check.
As I write this, the government shutdown is still dragging on. This is all because MAGA Republicans are hellbent on kicking millions of Americans off their healthcare and hiking insurance premiums for millions more.
Federal workers are missing their paychecks.
ICE continues to disappear people without due process.
Meanwhile, the man sitting in the White House is building a new $300 million ballroom.
It’s the perfect metaphor for what’s wrong with Washington: while the powerful party, working people are struggling just to get by.
Things are bleak for many reasons right now, but I’ll be honest, I still feel hope.
I see it in every conversation on the trail, in the volunteers giving their time to support our campaign, and in the small-dollar donors keeping this movement alive.
I see it in campaigns like ours, and incredible leaders running for and winning offices across the country who are proving that when we organize together, we can still move mountains.
What’s giving you hope right now, John?
I’d love to hear what’s keeping your spirits high. Because even in the toughest moments, we’ve got to remind each other that there are better times ahead — and that there’s still plenty of good worth fighting for.
