They don’t want independent watchdogs, police accountability, conviction integrity, or gun-violence prevention that actually lower the homicide rate and make us safer. He’s already telegraphing the playbook: cozy up to ICE and fuel mass deportations through charging decisions, bless a military invasion of Philadelphia, bring back the worst version of cash bail so poverty equals jail, and bulldoze the historic progress we’ve made getting the city safer and freer all at the same time .
If that’s your vision of “law and order,” you’re in the wrong city.
