Did you see the news on Friday? Republicans in Congress have introduced another proposal to wreck the Boundary Waters. But instead of pushing scientifically-unsound and toxic mining as they usually do, Republicans want to set up Border Patrol operations in the Boundary Waters!

This bill wouldn’t just send Border Patrol agents into the Boundary Waters—this would allow the Department of Homeland Security to demolish habitats, trails, streams, and campgrounds to construct Border Patrol installations and irreparably damage America’s most breathtaking and scenic wilderness.

We have to fight back against reckless and dangerous attacks like these on our beloved Boundary Waters. Republicans are using any excuse possible to destroy public lands. It has to stop and I’m ready to fight it.

I have been the strongest voice in Congress to permanently protect the Boundary Waters. And, I’m not backing down now. We must stop, block, and resist this latest attack and I need your help:
