Chapter Convention! November 15th, 1pm
|
The 2025 Sac DSA convention is upon us. If you are a member in good standing, you should have gotten an email with the time, location, and a link to RSVP.
We hope to see as many of you as possible attend and vote on chapter priorities, discuss our chapter's mission, amend our bylaws, and more. This is a key part of our chapter's democratic process! We will also start the process for electing our chapter's steering committee for 2026!
If you did not get an RSVP link but you are a Sac DSA member, or are interested in joining, or you need to renew your dues, feel free to email us, [email protected] for assistance.
*PLEASE NOTE: ONLY SAC DSA MEMBERS CAN VOTE ON CONVENTION PROPOSALS AND IN CHAPTER ELECTIONS!

Community News and Events

- Reminder: Election Day Is November 4th!
- If you are voting this year, make sure to get your ballots turned in! Polls close at 8 P.M.
- Stand Up To ICE!
- The American Gestapo are not letting up, but neither is this community. Be sure to follow us on Instagram and the list of comrades below to stay up to date on local Anti-ICE actions and organizing!
- Doris Matsui Emerges From The Crypt, Community Wants To Send Her Back!
- In late October, Representative Doris Matsui held a town hall, an event so rare that a Bigfoot sighting sounds more believable! At the town hall, Matsui embarrassed herself with nonsensical "word salad" answers to very direct questions about AIPAC, Palestine, Medicare For All, and more. Members of Sac DSA were there, loud, and we will continue to be.
- FYI: Matsui is currently facing a primary challenge from progressive city council member Mai Vang.
