John --
Next week is a big one, so I wanted to take this opportunity to hit pause and give you an update on where things stand in my race.
For starters, mail-in ballots in my primary are set to drop in exactly one week. We had a strong showing at our first candidate debate earlier this month. The highlight was when I sounded the alarm that my Democratic opponents are quietly encouraging dark money to enter the race.
John, that’s not something we’ll ever do. Just like my boss from Rep. Denny Heck, I don’t believe representatives should count on super PACs. And I certainly won’t accept this in my own backyard. Stamping out money in politics is a big reason why I decided to run for this seat in the first place.
Now that my opponents are trying to open up the floodgates, I need your support more than ever to bring this home. Can you chip in $3 before ballots drop next week? >> [link removed]
Every day our team is figuring out how many more voters we can talk to. I know that with my experience in D.C. fighting for our community in the South Sound, I can make a real difference.
I know you believe that too, and as we get into this final month of the campaign -- it would mean so much to me if you could dig just a bit deeper so that we can make our message go a bit further.
Can you chip in $3 today? >> [link removed]
I look forward to the change we can make together.
Thanks,
Phil
