I know times have been tough. 


Americans across the country have struggled as a result of the COVID-19
pandemic. Businesses have shut their doors. Workers have been laid off, or have
had their hours cut. Families have struggled to make ends meet. 


Even though our fight against COVID-19 isn’t over, there’s light at the end of
this tunnel. Americans are the most resilient people on Earth, and we will come
through this crisis stronger than ever before, and rise up together as One
American family. 


I wanted to check in on you, John, and see how you were doing in the face of
all this adversity. 


That’s why I’m reaching out today. I wanted to give you a chance to share the
