My name is Denise Marks, the chapter leader of Brady Delaware, and I’m joining Brady and advocates to rally for solutions to gun violence — a public health crisis that I, unfortunately, know all too well.

In 2012, my beloved daughter, Emily, died by firearm suicide. She was just 20 years old, a rising sophomore in college, and had her whole life ahead of her. She brought joy to all that knew her.

I can’t bring Emily back, but I can fight for solutions in her honor — and I hope that you’ll join me, friend. Please RSVP for our rally in just TWO days at 2:30 p.m. ET on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.
