For parents and caregivers of autistic children, caregiving is like two jobs. One is focused on meeting daily needs. The other on advocating, teaching, and believing in your loved one’s potential. In this newsletter, we provide support for you on both fronts.

But we also recognize your role requires every ounce of energy you have. So first, we want to remind you to take care of yourself, too. Because only when you do, can you care for the ones who mean the most. So please be sure to check out our simple self-care tips to help you recharge and be the best for both you and your loved one.

Ask your member of Congress to support this bipartisan bill to expand access to CST programs. Take action here.

Caregivers can play a vital role in getting them out to vote. Our Autism Votes Teaching Story can help with that. It includes easy-to-access information about registering to vote, how to vote, and learning about what’s on their current ballot.
