On January 6th, 2021, MAGA attempted a hostile takeover of the American government and was unsuccessful.

It was unsuccessful because they were too loud, too bold, and too many people were watching. They learned their lesson and determined that the next January 6th would need to be quiet, covert, and carried out under our noses within existing political systems.

Now they are ready to give it another go.

On November 4th, 2025, less than 48 hours from now, MAGA will attempt a 2nd January 6th coup. They will attempt to seize the Pennsylvania State Supreme Court all but guaranteeing a Trump victory in 2028 when he seeks a third term. Here’s how it going down:

The Democratic blue wall strategy for winning Presidential elections requires winning PA. Every recent election where we’ve lost PA we’ve lost the presidency.

MAGA control of the PA Supreme Court gives them the final call on declaring winners and losers in elections held in PA — if we lose this court on Tuesday, Democrats never win PA and its 19 electoral college votes again.

Rather than masked men roaming the halls of Congress with zip ties, MAGA’s coup in Pennsylvania has been defined by millions of dollars pumped into disinformation efforts tricking Democratic voters into thinking that voting no (the GOP ballot option) will protect abortion.

GOP turnout is surging and their disinformation effort is working, thousands of Democratic voters who have already turned in mail ballots are reporting that they fell for it - they were duped by MAGA’s covert disinformation operations.

Defend our Courts just placed a $500k cable and digital ad to counteract MAGA’s deception but it was nearly everything left in our warchest. We have two days to replenish our funds and turnout every vote or they will take this court.

Tomorrow morning, funds raised over the past few days will hit our account from ActBlue. We need a tidal wave of donations tonight to keep us hammering voters to turn out all the way up to the close of polls. Please rush $55, the average cost per vote (CPV) in this election, or whatever you can spare, to ensure that come Monday AM we have the budget to keep fighting until the bitter end.
