Donald Trump and his MAGA allies dismiss science.

"Well, what happens when the sun goes down?"

That's what the Republican nominee for Governor of Virginia said in a debate with Abigail Spanberger. Just like Donald Trump — who she takes her cues from — she's opposed to clean energy. It's part of a disturbing pattern: Donald Trump and his MAGA allies dismiss science.

But it's worse than that. They have slashed funding for basic research and cut healthcare coverage.

As a science educator, licensed engineer, and a proud American, I won't stand for it.

That's why I'm using my voice to support Abigail. She will enact policies to lower costs across the Commonwealth of Virginia and protect the beautiful blue orb we all live on.

But as you're reading this, we only have two days left for Virginians like my family members in Arlington, Richmond, Roanoke, and Danville to vote. Will you contribute your first $25 or even more to help Abigail Spanberger reach out to voters and win this election?

If you are signed up for ActBlue Express, your contribution to Abigail Spanberger will be processed immediately:

It's been my life's work to share science with people of all ages, and it gives me hope to see leaders like Abigail running who support the scientific community.

Let's all do our part to elect her this November.

Thank you,

Bill Nye
