| John,
2025 marks a turning point in the global climate fight.
It's been 10 years since the Paris Agreement was signed, and 20 years since the C40 global network of mayors formed to tackle climate change. The upcoming COP30 in Belém will be the most significant climate summit in a decade.
It's also a moment when local climate solutions continue to drive global climate progress. Ahead of the COP30 meeting, Bloomberg Philanthropies and the COP30 Presidency are bringing together hundreds of mayors, governors, and other local leaders at the COP30 Local Leaders Forum — where they'll showcase the most ambitious, impactful, and people-centered climate breakthroughs being led in their cities, states, and regions.
