Hi there,

Recently the House passed HR 2500, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

The bill authorizes military spending for the upcoming year, and Rep. Pete Aguilar authored several amendments, one of which protects active service members and veterans who are DACA recipients or granted Temporary Protected Status from being deported.

Without these amendments, the Department of Defense is not prohibited from participating in deportation processes against men and women who have put their lives on the line for our country.

Now, this bill awaits review in the Senate -- today, we want to hear from you.

How important is it that servicemembers and their families be protected from separation and deportation?

    Extremely important
    Very important
    Important
    Not very Important
    Not important at all

Thank you for your input!
