Hey, Susan Collins: has Donald Trump “learned his lesson” yet?

Last night, Trump thumbed his nose at the rule of law by commuting the sentence of friend and former campaign advisor Roger Stone. Stone was convicted, by a jury, and sentenced to jail for lying to the government in order to protect the President.

But Trump doesn’t believe in “law and order” when it applies to him and his friends. He continues to make a mockery of our justice system.

And make no mistake, Susan Collins and the Republican-led Senate have ignored every chance they have had to hold Trump accountable. The only lesson Trump learned from impeachment is that Collins and her colleagues will let him get away with anything.

It’s time we vote them out.

We deserve a president who doesn’t reward criminals and a Senator who will stand up to a criminal president. Donate today to the Maine Dems to hold Trump accountable, defeat Collins, and elect Democrats up and down the ticket.
