TUESDAY is Election Day for many of our phenomenal, pro-choice, pro-WOMEN women candidates. For the most part, these women are running against Republican men who have unapologetically stated that they would like to limit or outlaw a woman’s right to choose. Our candidates have spent the last year doing everything they can to make sure that doesn’t happen.

We are proud to support women across the country, in both red and blue states, but, as Election Day nears, we would like to draw your attention to Virginia.

Virginia is the LAST southern state in which women still have access to full reproductive healthcare – which means millions of women depend on this state for access to life-saving abortions or miscarriage management. We want to be very clear: that could change after Tuesday’s elections.

Here’s why: Pro-choice legislators in Virginia are working to enshrine reproductive rights in the state constitution to ensure that this right does not become dependent on which party is in control. They have already passed the amendment out of the State House once, but in order for it to make it to the ballot for voters to protect abortion access once and for all in 2026, it needs to pass a second time this upcoming legislative session.

GOP candidates running against our candidates have stated that they would work to block this from happening.

That means it’s essential that we help elect pro-choice women THIS TUESDAY. Many of our candidates’ opponents have either already voted against protecting abortion access (as well as birth control) or have made it clear that they plan to do so in the upcoming legislative term.
