As we prepare for Thanksgiving, keep in mind that our food supply depends on bees and other pollinators.
One out of every three bites of food is possible because of pollinators, but they are dying at a staggering rate from toxic pesticides called neonics. A decline in pollinators can result in increased food costs, reduced access to healthy food, and worsening food insecurity.
Despite overwhelming evidence that neonic pesticides are a main culprit behind this alarming decline, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has failed to put science over industry profits and has not imposed commonsense restrictions on their use.
We just sued the EPA to rein in widespread use of neonic pesticides, but we need your help.
Tell the EPA that you stand with NRDC and the millions of Americans calling on them to defend our pollinators, food supply, and health.
