But thanks to the work of Brad Lander and other progressive leaders in NYC, your donation to our campaign is honestly, really, actually matched 8-to-1 by public financing.
That means your $10 gift translates to $90 in support for a candidate who puts people before corporations, long-term planning before short-term profit, and real progress before politics and spin.
Just like our match is real, so is our deadline.
We have to report our fundraising numbers before tonight, July 11, at midnight, which will show New York City whether or not we have the strength to bring progressive values to the office of NYC Comptroller. This is the last public filing deadline before matched dollars are distributed, so it really, really matters that we have strong support now.
