I'm reaching out personally because I know that over the past few days, there has been some uncertainty regarding the continuation of SNAP benefits through November. If you or someone you know is experiencing food insecurity as a result of the government shutdown, there are resources to help you through this time.

I also wanted to let you know that open enrollment begins today, November 1st. Click this link to learn more about open enrollment and make sure you are covered in 2026.

I know times are hard right now. I'm working hard to fight for families in Texas and across the country in Washington, but I am hopeful that our community here in Dallas County will come together and support each other.
