Fellow Conservative,
It’s time to cancel #CancelCulture.
The Left’s toxicity knows no bounds—they are now targeting Goya Foods, the largest Hispanic-owned food company in the United States.
Why? Because Goya’s CEO dared to pay a polite compliment to the President of the United States while being hosted at the White House. He said, “We are all truly blessed... to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder.”
That’s it!? But in 2020, that’s enough for the radical Left to go after your business and livelihood.
Janae Stracke, Grassroots Director for Heritage Action, exposes the toxicity of the Left’s #CancelCulture and shows us what America really needs:
Make something positive trend. Share this on Facebook <[link removed]>, Twitter <[link removed]>, and Instagram <[link removed]>.

Grassroots Boots on the Ground!
The fight for America’s soul must not only happen in the halls of Congress, but it must also happen on the local level in communities across the nation.
In the past 3 months, we’ve called over 2,000,000 homes.
In the next 2 months, we’ll knock over 200,000 doors.
This is all part of our 2020 efforts <[link removed]> to combat the Left.
We are:
- Focusing on the issues: Culture, Immigration, America’s Workforce, and the Economy.
- Targeting 4 Key States: Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, North Carolina.
- Reaching out to moderates who are repulsed by the Left’s toxicity.
- Recruiting solid conservatives to build up our grassroots army of Sentinels for 2020 and years to come.
And here’s what one new Sentinel <[link removed]> recruit from Project 2020 had to say:
Defeating the Left means countering them at every point. America needs Sentinels to stand guard. Want to be more involved in your community? Sign up here <[link removed]>.
Conservative Wins in the Supreme Court
Congress was in recess this week, so most of the action on the Hill happened over at the Supreme Court:
- Little Sisters of the Poor — On Wednesday, SCOTUS ruled that Little Sisters of the Poor would not have to offer birth control <[link removed]> in their health care plans—a victory for the Catholic charity and religious institutions across America. SCOTUS’ ruling on Wednesday reaffirms that religious liberty is one of America’s highest ideals. The ruling brings to an end an eight-year legal battle for the Little Sisters of the Poor.
- Religious School Autonomy — Also on Wednesday, SCOTUS once again affirmed the American right to religious liberty by ruling that religious schools can determine which employees perform specific religious functions <[link removed]>. According to The Heritage Foundation President Kay C. James, “This ruling is welcome news for Americans of all faiths. By allowing religious institutions— without interference from the government—to decide for themselves who will teach their faith and how that faith will be taught, America preserves the fundamental right of religious freedom.”
- Electoral College — On Monday, SCOTUS unanimously ruled to uphold state laws requiring members of the Electoral College to support the winner of their state’s popular vote in presidential elections <[link removed]>. The decision is a win for conservatives and Americans of all walks of life as it safeguards the Electoral College system that has provided centuries of stability for our country.
A New Coronavirus Bill is Emerging from the Swamp
As expected, all the wrong people are trying to abuse the coronavirus crisis to pull a fast one on the American people.
For months, the Swamp has been fighting to put together an expensive package, full of giveaways, and laden with liberal priorities. When Members of Congress return to D.C. on July 20th, they will soon debate and vote on another coronavirus-related bill.
Conservatives should stand vigilant and be prepared to:
- Oppose State and Local Bailouts <[link removed]>.
- Stop an Extension of the $600 weekly UI benefit <[link removed]>.
- Back the White House’s plan to ban Surprise Billing <[link removed]>, without giving in to the Left’s efforts to give the government the power to set prices.
- Extend liability protections for churches <[link removed]>, schools, and businesses that reopen.
Conservatives should continue to engage in the policy fights here in Washington even as we fight for our American culture and heritage at home. We must remain vigilant and focused. We are happy warriors and everyone at Heritage Action is proud to stand beside each of you. Thank you!
