While I've been focused on reopening the government and saving Obamacare tax credits in Washington, I know my team has reached out to you a couple of times this week about our end-of-month goal to raise 10,000 grassroots donations.

Well, friend, I hope you'll hear me out once more – because the truth is, while we came very close, we were still a few donations short at the stroke of midnight.

(If you were one of the thousands of people who did pitch in, however, I hope you know how incredibly grateful I am to have earned your support.)

With ACA open enrollment starting today, 280,000 Coloradans are about to feel the cost of the GOP’s refusal to act on rising health care premiums. So if Trump and the Republicans think they can make working families pay 2X (or more) for essential health care and get away with it, we'll have to make them pay at the ballot box next year.

That's why I'm extending the deadline until 11:59 p.m. tonight – both to close the gap and because I need all the help I can get if we're going to protect the people of Colorado from the president's cruelty.

As governor, I’ll always stand with Coloradans to protect our health, our communities, and our future – no matter what Trump does. But I can't fulfill that promise without you powering this campaign to victory – so please, friend, will you chip in anything right now (even if just $1!) and be one of the last few grassroots donations I need to meet this goal?
