John, Starting today, more than a million people across NC will have a harder time feeding their kids because of Washington’s dysfunction. Right now across our country, SNAP benefits are at risk for tens of millions of families who rely on it to put food on the table. I’ve seen firsthand how hard people are working to make ends meet — and how much it hurts when politics in Washington makes their lives harder. We cannot accept the fact that DC is too broken to come together to feed hungry kids. This is what North Carolinians do best: we look out for one another.
