November Gatherings

This November we bring YOU a gathering mini-prompt or mini-activity to start every school day (or lesson) with community–follow us on social for all the tips, lessons and more on social media!

Gatherings range from quick, low-bar questions to get students talking to sharing quotes and short explorations of different topics and ideas. They give you the chance to work a taste of SEL—and engagement—into your day while you build community!

Community Care Package

A collection of tips, strategies and lessons to help you focus on community care in your classrooms; ensure all students feel heard; and manage discussions about current events in your class. 

Circles & Peace Corners Made a 'Big Difference' in this Classroom

This second-grade teacher found a way to bring comfort and promote learning in stressful times. The weekly circles encourage her students to build a community where they can show up more fully, share personal experiences, connect with their feelings, and figure out who and how they want to be in the world.
