An update on happenings in Fairfax County and around the Commonwealth from the Office of Senator Saddam Salim
Dear friends,
Today is the last day of Early Voting!
Many folks choose to early vote because of the convenience but as the opportunity to early vote closes, think about your schedule. Do you have plenty of free time on Tuesday to get to your polling place?
If you have a busy week, stop what you are doing and go vote today! Virginia Department of Elections has information about early voting locations here, or you can visit Fairfax County's page.
If you have an absentee ballot at home, DON'T PUT IT IN THE MAIL! This close to Election Day, the time to deliver may make your ballot invalid. Instead, drop your absentee ballot off at your polling place - or destroy it and cast a normal ballot on Election Day. Find your polling place here.
Virginia Votes!
These elections will decide whether Virginia has leaders who stand up to the Trump administration, or continue to be led by those who put their party ahead of their people. I support the Democratic Party ticket and I hope you will too.
Knowing that many of you will be making a choice soon on who to vote for, I wrote a column for FCNP last month explaining why it is so important that we elect Virginia Democrats this year. Please read the column at FCNP.com.
As always it is an honor to continue to represent you.
