This is the last weekend before Election Day. Our team is out in full force, door-knocking, talking to voters, and working tirelessly to ensure everyone understands what’s at stake on Election Day.
As a reminder, on Election Day, three PA Supreme Court justices, elected as Democrats, are trying to keep their seats after serving ten years. This TUESDAY, PA voters will decide whether to retain these justices through a simple yes or no vote in a non-partisan retention election. If MAGA's anti-retention campaign succeeds, the court could have three vacancies until the Governor appoints and the Senate confirms new justices – which is unlikely, as this would require support from Republicans in the PA Senate – or until the next judicial election in 2027.
There are also two judges who are standing for retention, one in the Commonwealth Court and one on the Superior Court. NPP will also be supporting Judge Stella Tsai for the Commonwealth Court vacancy and Judge Brandon Neuman for the Superior Court vacancy.
Our state courts play a crucial role in Pennsylvania’s future when it comes to gerrymandering, reproductive rights, education funding, LGBTQ+ rights, voting access, and so much more. With so much at stake, we need all hands on deck in these final hours.
This is your last chance to donate and save our courts in PA: Please rush $25 or more now to help us fund our independent expenditure get-out-the-vote (GOTV) door-knocking and Election Day precinct program.
