Blue_Momentum_logo_(1).jpgFriend,

Yesterday at the Supreme Court, the rule of law won. Seven of the court's nine justices -- including the two nominated by Donald Trump -- ruled that the president is not above the law, that he or she does not have absolute immunity. It was a massive win for our democracy -- so naturally, Donald Trump was massively upset about it, tweeting in all caps and generally melting down.

Yesterday's decision was truly extraordinary, and we should celebrate that win. But our fight to hold Donald Trump accountable, protect the rule of law, and defend the values that define America is just beginning. Will you join me?

We need to elect representatives at all levels of government who will put our country first, who believe that our President is never above the law, and who will do so even when it's hard. Republicans -- from the state legislators who have tried to block state laws that would provide oversight over Trump to the U.S. Senators who made up their minds to acquit the President before impeachment hearings even began -- have consistently and uniformly put their own party and their own power before our country and our future.

I'm fighting every day to hold Donald Trump accountable and to ensure that Congress is actively and thoroughly participating in our constitutional role of oversight, and I'm working to elect representatives across the country who will be allies in that fight. Chip in $2020, $202.0, or $20.20 right now to help make sure that we elect principled leaders who will put our country before their party in 2020.

P.S. I'm writing you this email from Blue Momentum PAC, which is my leadership PAC. That means that every single dollar given today will go straight into supporting Democrats across the country as we fight for the rule of law, healthcare for all, and a brighter future for working families. Please consider chipping in!
