Schatzline Will Not Seek Re-Election

Our incredible State Representative, Nate Schatzline, has announced that he will not seek re-election. This comes as a shock to Tarrant County conservatives, for whom Schatzline has been one of our strongest heroes. But he isn't backing out of the fight.

Instead, he's stepping up to do even more for our cause. He has taken a job to help activate churches across the nation to help save our country, just as his own church, Mercy Culture, has been doing incredibly well.

As of the release of this newsletter, the only candidate who has announced a run for the seat is Fort Worth City Councilman Alan Blaylock. We will see who all runs!

We will miss Representative Schatzline dearly in the Texas House, but are glad that he is taking his work to an even bigger level!

Redistricting Lawsuit Win

Once County Judge O'Hare and the Commissioners' Court passed the new maps for Tarrant County, Democrats sued immediately. They have yet to have any victory against Republicans in court - and another win came in today.

The lawsuit as of today has progressed all the way to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Today, the federal appeals court shot down the appeal.

The case first went to a district court that shot down their request to prevent the maps from taking effect. Now, the Fifth Circuit has done the same. According to the court, "the facts do not support the challengers' first argument, and the law does not support their second."

We have continued to win on this front and expect that nothing will prevent the maps from taking effect. This win for Tarrant County is permanent.

SCOTX Gay Marriage

Big news came this week out of the Texas Supreme Court. SCOTX has ruled that officials are not required to perform gay marriages.

This comes after a McLennan County Justice of the Peace refused to officiate gay marriages in 2019 and was attacked by the State Commission on Judicial Conduct (SCJC).

As a side note, one of the Constitutional Amendments on your November ballot has to do with giving conservatives greater control over the SCJC. You should vote for it!

Texas isn't the only state in recent years where a public official has been attacked for refusing to officiate gay marriages. In other states, officials found little help from the courts. But in Texas, the Supreme Court has stood strong on this issue. It's only the beginning, but it's a step in the right direction.

Your Camera is Spying on You (For China)

As Trump returns from his negotiation with China's Xi Jinping over the US-China trade war, the Administration, as well as Republican state officials, are cracking down on Chinese tech companies operating in the US.

Ken Paxton, along with several other Republican Attorneys General, is investigating a company called "Lorex" which produces security cameras made in and controlled by China. These products are popularly sold on Amazon and at Costco. The company is being accused of complying with the CCP's data law, which requires disclosure of sensitive information to the CCP. Our security cameras are spying on us for the CCP.

At the same time, the WiFi router company TPLink, a popular brand holding 60% of market share, is under investigation by Trump's Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, for the same reasons. TPLink routers are made in and controlled by China. Even worse than complying with the CCP data law, TPLink routers in the US have been used by the CCP for hacking purposes in the US.

We hope that Trump and our state officials will continue to crack down on Chinese espionage in the US. But this is a good start. Thank you to AG Paxton and to Secretary Lutnick!

Paxton Sues Tylenol

Attorney General Paxton has taken a monumental step to push forward the MAHA agenda in our state. This week, he announced a monumental lawsuit against Tylenol for deceptive marketing to pregnant mothers.

President Trump and Secretary Kennedy recently warned that the active ingredient in Tylenol can be a risk of autism when taken by infants or pregnant mothers.

It's great to warn people not to do this in the future, but it is just as important to get justice for anyone who was wrongfully harmed by a company.

Paxton is arguing that Tylenol violated Texas's consumer protection law by marketing the medication as safe for pregnant women. He also claims that the company violated the Texas Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act by attempting to offload the liability to another company.

This is just one of many recent huge MAHA lawsuits that Paxton has launched against Big Pharma. He has won many times. We thank him and hope that he will win this one as well!
