Aloha —
We are making real progress on the biggest challenges facing Hawaii.
This month I announced the state’s first kauhale village on Maui — an important step toward our goal of cutting homelessness in half statewide by the end of 2026.
I led a delegation to Japan to sign agreements with our Pacific partners that will reduce carbon emissions, cut energy prices for Hawaii residents, and meet our long term clean energy goals.
I also took action to protect local workers who have lost federal jobs during the government shutdown by offering them jobs in state government here in Hawaii, and to provide TANF (temporary assistance for needy families) funds for food and housing support to help those in need during the shutdown.
If you support my efforts on these issues and want me to keep fighting to cut energy prices, reduce homelessness, and protect local workers,
please chip in $10 or any amount before tonight’s monthly fundraising deadline.
