While Washington is plagued with partisan gridlock, local offices like
city council have the potential to make real, lasting change in their
communities.

That’s why DFA is proud to endorse these eight progressive local city
council candidates running for office across the country:

* Terry Brown, City Council District 3, Charlotte (NC)
* Carrie Hartman, City Council, Maumee (OH)
* Zack Quintero, City Council District 2, Albuquerque (NM)

All of these candidates will work to not only make sure the potholes are
filled and budgets are balanced, but they’ll also take meaningful action
on issues like criminal justice reform, climate change, and income
inequality.
