I know it’s Halloween, so thanks for taking a second to open this -- I’ll keep it quick.

I just got off the phone with my finance team, and we’re still a few donations short of where we need to be before the month ends at midnight. With four Republicans now running against me -- and national operatives laser-focused on flipping CA-45 -- tonight’s deadline has taken on a new meaning.

As you read this email national Republicans are laying the groundwork to flood this district with outside money and misinformation. They know Prop 50 could redraw the maps and limit their power, so they’re attempting to manipulate public opinion with distortions and spin.

We flipped this seat by just 653 votes. That means our path to holding it, and helping Democrats retake the House, depends on grassroots supporters stepping up at moments like this.
