Hi John,

There’s only one week left in August, so I’m going to cut to the chase. This seat is under attack by a pro-Trump super PAC and a far-right opponent. Everything that we’ve worked for in the 116th Congress -- expanded voting rights, equality for the LGBTQ community, humane immigration reform, common-sense gun laws, and more -- is on the line.

My far-right opponent is calling on Trump supporters over social media to help him “Keep America Great.” He thinks he’s the only person fighting for this seat -- but we’re going to prove him wrong.

Our progress may be stalled in the Senate thanks to Mitch McConnell, but the legislative victories we’ve already won in the House aren’t just symbolic. The people of PA-05 and Americans everywhere want change, and these reforms will pass. We just have to keep up the fight.

I’m not backing down in the face of our president and his wealthy donors. I’m not letting an extremist take this seat, either. And I’m certainly not going to let Mitch McConnell condemn our bills to his legislative graveyard.
