$11,828

Hi John,

My opponent Rep. Derek Kilmer joined Republicans to sign onto a letter calling for Mitt Romney’s plan to cut Social Security. He accused me in our Seattle Times endorsement meeting of lying, but facts are facts — no matter how inconvenient they are for him.

Why would Rep. Kilmer sign that letter when 24% of our district is on Social Security? I don’t know. I just know that it’s wrong.

Can you donate $7 today to help me win, so I can fight for Social Security in Congress? I need to raise $11,828 by Sunday at midnight to meet this week’s goal and afford to buy enough postcards to send to voters.

When I’m in Congress, I’ll fight to protect and expand Social Security, make sure the wealthy pay their fair share into it, and enact Social Security caregiver credits, so unpaid caregivers have a financially secure retirement after putting in work caring for loved ones.

To do that, I need to win this primary, and voting starts in 7 days. This is crunch time, and I can’t afford to fall behind in fundraising. If you can, please donate $7 now, so I can raise the $11,828 I need by this Sunday at midnight:
