Hello -- I just pulled our fundraising numbers a few moments ago and we've got a problem on our hands. Here's the situation:

It turns out we've brought in 8% fewer contributions than we did at this point last month -- and our average donation is down 19%, too.

June was a great month with more polls showing our campaign in the lead and many political pundits upgrading our race to "toss-up" status. And we were hoping to build on our momentum this month -- but not if we miss our goals.

Governor Bullock will be hammered by outside attacks from McConnell's super PACs, and if we fall short here, we may not have the financial resources required to make important decisions about how to fight back.

To make up this difference, we either need a lot of folks to step up today or a few folks to chip in a bit more than they normally do. So, we're asking:

Will you make a donation of any amount to Steve's campaign to help us get back on track this month and to ensure we have the resources to fight back and defend ourselves from these awful attacks?

Our momentum continues to grow by the day, but so do the attacks on Steve and our campaign here in Montana. Everything you pitch in today will go to expanding our work to flip this seat and to fight back before it's too late.
