BNSF Railway CPA Hearing Scheduled for November 5, 2025

 StThe BNSF Intermodal Comprehensive Plan Amendment will be included on the agenda for the formal public meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 5, 2025.  Because thousands of residents have contacted me about the proposed BNSF Railway project in Wittman, AZ, I want to make sure you know about the Hearing in case you want to attend, speak or watch online.

*AGENDA ITEM:* The Major Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the land use designation in the White Tank Grand Avenue Area Plan from Single-Family Rural to Mixed Use Employment.  Site Location is generally located north of US-60 between 211th Ave and 235th Ave in the Wittman area.

*Meeting Start Time: *9:30 A.M.

*Meeting Location: *Supervisor’s Auditorium, 205 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ 85003.  *"(Seating is Limited)"*

*Free Public Parking Location: *501 W. Jefferson St. Phoenix, AZ 85003.  Parking entrance is located on the south side of the lot off Madison St.

*Public Comment:  *If you wish to speak on the BNSF agenda item, attendees need to fill out a "request to speak" form indicating the agenda Item related to BNSF. The forms will be available in the lobby of the Supervisor Auditorium.  Request to Speak forms must be turned into the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, NO LATER than TEN Minutes AFTER the Board meeting formally begins.  The length of public comment is determined by the Board Chairman, but is usually no longer than 2 minutes and it may be less depending on the number of people that want to speak.
