But my friend Gary Peters in Michigan is in the opposite situation. He’s one of the most vulnerable Democrats up for reelection this November, in a state Trump won by the slimmest of margins four years ago.

Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight says that if Republicans win Michigan in 2020, they can keep control of the Senate — and the GOP is clearly using this playbook.

Super PACs aligned with Betsy DeVos and Mitch McConnell are pumping millions of dollars into Michigan to help their hand-picked candidate.

Just yesterday, reports showed these dark money groups helped Gary’s opponent outraise him again for the fourth quarter in a row!

Gary is the type of Senator our country needs — he’s focused on strengthening the middle class and helping small businesses thrive.
