The summer may be drawing to a close, but we’ve still got books to read!

These women on our summer reading list have filled pages and pages with knowledge and wisdom to empower and uplift women of all ages. We are so grateful for their courage to put pen to paper.

Two weeks ago, we hosted our first author talkback on Martha’s Vineyard with Joy Ann-Reid. As always, she brought the heat and sat down sister to sister to give us an inside look on what is was like writing “The Man Who Stole the White House”, and gave her thoughts on whether the damage to America can be undone.

Book clubs are great and all but hearing from these authors directly on why their truth telling was necessary is quite the added bonus. 

Next, we will be joined by the incredible national leader, Stacey Abrams, where she’ll pull back the curtain on her book “Lead from the Outside” and discuss why convincing others―and yourself―that you are capable of taking charge and achieving more requires insight and courage.
