Hi and Happy Halloween!!

There’s a lot going on in Washington right now that feels straight out of a horror movie – between the ongoing shutdown, the increases in healthcare coverage costs, and loss of SNAP programs.

What makes this situation more monstrous is Derrick Van Orden’s repeated failure to do anything except parrot MAGA rhetoric on Twitter.

He hasn’t worked to open the government. He hasn’t fought for a bill to fund SNAP. He has barely even visited the district.

Derrick Van Orden has utterly and totally ghosted us as a leader.

On this Halloween, would you support my campaign to bring back leadership to the 3rd? You deserve better than a Congressional representative who tweets his way through a crisis in lieu of actually solving it. ([link removed])

I have the real-world government experience to get things done on Day 1, and I have the wherewithal as a mental health counselor to approach problems with solutions and care – not to just use problems as a political football.

Derrick Van Orden isn’t up for the job, and it’s time to show him the door.
