Republicans keep trying to take health insurance from our nation's sick and most vulnerable. That's exactly what they're doing as they once again appeal to the Supreme Court to dismantle the Affordable Care Act.

We cannot let them win, John. The consequences would be devastating. My Democratic AG colleagues and I will keep up the fight to protect American families from these attacks no matter what.

When the Trump administration and its Republican AG allies filed their opening briefs a couple of weeks ago, they made it clear what they aim to eliminate:

Coverage for kids up to age 26 on their parents' plans

Protections for as many as 133 million Americans with pre-existing conditions

Health care for more than 20 million Americans.

In Oregon alone, the Affordable Care Act has helped hundreds of thousands of previously uninsured families access quality, affordable health care, which has cut our uninsured rate by nearly two thirds.

Trump's coalition wants to take it all away, without any plan to fill in the gaps. They would prefer health care to be a luxury for the rich.
