ON THE ROAD WITH TONY...
Welcome to our October newsletter!
I hope everyone has a safe and scary Halloween!
We are so proud of the many accomplishments of the Macomb County Clerk's Office, and this edition of the Clerk's Corner Newsletter spotlights two of our favorites!
In October, our free Fraud Notify alerts program reached the 20,000 sign-ups level. When I took office, we had just 1,200 participants, and we've been able to get the word out and get our residents signed up for an extra layer of protection against real estate fraud.
Fraud Notify Alerts is a simple way for our Macomb County homeowners to be alerted of possible property fraud by email. Please see the video below to show how we celebrated this feat and how you can easily sign up.
Also, we are so proud that when you call our offices during regular business hours, you will always get a live person that answers the phone. In fact a whopping 98 percent of our calls are handled by a live person, with only two percent dropping off after just a few minutes. Please see the video feature below where we use REAL intelligence (not "AI") to answer our phones!
