After trick-or-treating with Winston (who dressed up as a very intimidating T-Rex) I have a terrible stomach ache.

The pit in my stomach isn’t from eating too much Halloween candy (I wish). It’s from seeing that the Republicans are propping up a candidate who will likely self-fund their race, making the road to keeping NH-02 blue harder because MAGA is making this a priority to flip. 

Republicans are gerrymandering maps in states all over the country at Trump’s urging, and Democrats cannot afford to lose even a single seat they currently hold. 

That means winning my race. This district is known as one of the tightest districts in the nation. Slow fundraising in this race isn’t a small problem—it could affect whether Democrats retake control of the U.S. House this midterm. 

Flipping the House is extremely important for the future of our country. It is painfully obvious right now how bad things get when Republicans are in power. It’s so bad that Republicans are prioritizing protecting pedophiles and sexual predators by blocking the release of the full Epstein Files rather than funding SNAP or WIC to feed hungry children and mothers.

Christian, I am reaching out today because these stakes are too important not to ask for your help. I know that it is Halloween and everyone is tired and checked out from the daily chaos in Washington, D.C.—but I need you now.
