Fellow Conservative,

Given the current unrest across the country and Independence Day, I’ve been reflecting on our nation’s founding principles, and what our Founding Fathers accomplished.

Nearly 250 years ago, the 13 colonies united to fight oppression, and Thomas Jefferson penned the Declaration of Independence. Never before had a nation been founded on the ideal that “all men are created equal.”

George Washington led us to victory over the British, a feat deemed impossible at the time. George Washington went on to set the precedent of two Presidential term limits - an incredible precedent. 

Yet statues of these great leaders are being defaced and destroyed across America.

The ideas they enshrined in the Declaration and the Constitution have been the basis for every movement that has brought further freedom to all Americans.

I’m committed to fighting for these principles in Washington. I will always fight for liberty for all, limited government, and free markets.
