Part of what inspired me to run for Congress was the legacy of service that I come from. My father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all served this country in the armed forces. That's a picture of my late father Jimmie Lee Stelson. 

Thanks to their decades of service, putting others before myself is something ingrained in me from a young age.

But that is something that my opponent Congressman Scott Perry has absolutely no clue how to do. That is probably why he is attacking our brave service members in the media.

I hope to take my legacy of service with me to Congress to fight for you and your families. To lower the cost of gas and groceries, to protect your right to affordable and accessible health care and to defend our democracy, with all my might.
