Team, it's been one month since the government shutdown.

In that month, we've faced:
Federal employees not knowing when their next paycheck is coming in—or if they'll be laid off. (1)
Food stamp benefits ending tomorrow, making 1 in 8 Americans go hungry. (2)
Damage to national parks like a wildfire in Joshua Tree, overflowing bathrooms, trash not being picked up, and trails not being safely maintained. (3)

Add your voice to tell your representatives in Congress that we need them to fight for our healthcare and make sure the services we rely on are fully funded.

TAKE ACTION: [link removed]

Trump and Republicans in Congress have the power to end the shutdown—they're in control of the House, Senate, and Presidency. All they need to do is agree to a solution that prevents health insurance costs from going up for millions of Americans.

Instead, Trump and Congressional Republicans are spending money on everything except the services that millions of American families rely on. Since the start of the shutdown, they’ve announced the spending of $40 billion on a bailout of Argentina, $170 million on two private jets for Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, and $300 million to build a White House ballroom.

Because they refuse to help Americans with rising health care costs, they could strip health insurance from nearly five million people and double the cost of health insurance for millions more.

This isn't right—so we're asking our representatives to fight for a solution that gets the government up and running again while protecting our healthcare, agencies, and services that Americans depend on. Fill out this one-minute advocacy form to join our call to action for legislators!

Trump and Congressional Republicans are making us poorer, sicker, and less safe—but we have the chance to fight back and stand up for our communities by making our voices heard today.

Thanks for being a crucial part of this movement.
