John, A lot of things are heading in the wrong direction right now. Coronavirus cases, carbon pollution, temperatures, injustice, respect for science and each other. But with people like you on board, there’s hope. You stay home when you can, and wear a mask when you can’t. You do your part to be a responsible environmental steward. You’re speaking up and finding your place in the solutions to these issues. And most importantly, you’re going to vote and educate everyone you know on the issues and candidates. Now I need you to take one more step. We’re putting more resources behind winning a pro-environment, pro-public health, pro-democracy, pro-justice state legislative majority in November than we have in any previous election. We can only do that if dedicated members like you invest in this cause. John, will you make a $1 or $1 monthly commitment to our election fund until November? » Dan Forest, Phil Berger, Tim Moore, and company are rushing to reopen the state, defying experts and science, and making masks and public health into a political issue. That's the same thing they're doing on climate. They’re making people distrust government, disbelieve science, and thumb their nose at health regulations. They’re breeding a culture of selfishness that says it’s okay to think only of yourself and not about your responsibility to the rest of us. They're putting our most vulnerable people in danger, and they need to go. Help us re-elect Gov. Cooper and put a pro-conservation majority in charge of the people’s General Assembly.
