The GOP’s ad push is aimed at spreading disinformation utilizing progressive messaging like “Protect Women” or “Term limit the Court” to deceive liberal voters into removing the three vote Democratic majority on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
This strategy is working. Outreach to voters who have already turned in mail-in ballots shows that thousands of good Democrats have already inadvertently voted for the MAGA ballot option.
As of 10:19 AM ET this morning, Defend our Courts has just placed a $200,000 buy on hyper targeted digital ad spots for our video ads (see the ad on our ActBlue page) which make it crystal clear that the only way to protect abortion in PA is by voting YES to retain our justices.
This is technically money that we don’t have. We have over $270,000 in outstanding payments to vendors but given the blinking red warning signs we had no choice. We could lose this election and we are risking everything to prevent a catastrophic defeat.
Losing this court means Democrats never win Pennsylvania again. Given this swing state’s importance if we lose it we would likely never win a Presidential again either. Everything is on the line.
