The government is still shut down, and while my Democratic colleagues and I are trying to work together and find solutions, Republicans have been on vacation.
It’s inexcusable that Republicans are avoiding their jobs while Minnesotans and Americans are going hungry, and healthcare premiums are skyrocketing.
Donald Trump and the GOP created this mess, and now they refuse to join us in trying to fix it.
I’m not going to give up in this fight. Too many Minnesotans’ livelihoods are at risk.
