John,
Three years on, conflict continues to take a devastating toll in Ukraine.
Millions of people have been uprooted from their homes and are in need of humanitarian assistance, in what has become the largest and fastest displacement crisis in Europe since World War II.
With winter coming, refugee families need to know we're there. We can't wait until temperatures plunge and weather conditions worsen to prepare our winter response.
Please rush your donation for families facing crisis in Ukraine and around the world. Every dollar you give today becomes two, bringing life-saving warmth, emergency relief and a hopeful future to those who need it most.
John, winter puts refugees and displaced families in greater danger.
Liudmyla knows this all too well. When Russia launched its full-scale military invasion of Ukraine, she and her family fled to Kryvyi Rih, about 100 miles from their village near Beryslav.
She and her husband are now repairing their house, which Russian airstrikes damaged. It remains without electricity.
She relies on cash assistance from the IRC to buy the firewood the family uses for heating fuel—keeping them safe from the region's wind, snow and bone-chilling temperatures.
Oleksandra stands by the firewood her mother, Liudmyla, buys with IRC cash assistance.
But there are still many more families like Liudmyla's waiting for help.
Please make a gift to help families in the world's toughest places prepare for winter before it's too late. Your gift will be matched today »
