1. As of November 1st, the largest food assistance program in the country, SNAP, is set to stop providing benefits to 42 million people. The Trump administration has the contingency funds to prevent this disaster, but they are refusing to use them. This is not fiscal policy. It is a cynical, cruel choice designed to inflict pain on the most vulnerable—and blame the Democrats for it.
2. Trump isn't just withholding food; he’s deploying troops. The Pentagon is finalizing plans to create a massive National Guard “reaction force”—thousands of specialized troops trained for domestic civil unrest—to be deployed at the President’s command. He is expanding deployments into cities like Chicago and Portland, cementing his physical control over American streets and getting us used to seeing the military used against our own people.

You can and should take to the streets. You should sign every petition. But the only way to stop this escalation permanently—the only way to strip this wannabe dictator of his power—is to win in 2026.
