Approaching our 20th year, we at PM Press have published almost 700 books about building a more just world and the road to get there, by the likes of Silvia Federici, Akilah Richards, Noam Chomsky, Tomoyuki Hoshino, C.L.R. James, Ursula Le Guin, Cory Doctorow, Nisi Shawl, Kim Stanley Robinson, and Peter Linebaugh.

Our warehouse gives us the logistical wherewithal to table at hundreds of events each year around the country—bookfairs, conferences, demonstrations, rock concerts, and much in between. We need to secure this vital left institution—for the present and for the future—and we're asking for your help.

Unlike the well-funded right, the left lacks enduring institutions to foster and disseminate ideas. Most left organizations founded over the last half-century no longer exist. Those that have survived tend to have one thing in common: they own their building outright, giving them financial stability and protection from the caprices of the market.
