Tonight's deadline isn’t just about hitting a number. It’s about showing Trump and his MAGA allies that their threats, schemes, lies, and attacks haven’t scared us — they’ve only made us stronger.

Republicans have shut down the government for weeks now. And while they continue to try to blame Democrats, we know the truth. Republicans control Washington right now, and they are hell bent on making deep cuts to health care and nutrition programs for working families to protect tax breaks for billionaires. This is the same party that claims to care about fiscal responsibility. Yet, federal workers have gone without pay for weeks, and families wonder how they’ll afford groceries due to their self-interests.

Enough is enough. This is the same broken agenda they’ve been pushing since Trump took office. And I’m doing everything I can in Congress to stand up to it.

But fighting back has made me one of their top targets. National Republicans are targeting me with millions in attack ads and have even weaponized the Justice Department to try to get me out of Congress. They’re terrified of the grassroots movement we’ve built together — one that’s ready to fight back.

So tonight isn’t just about hitting a fundraising number — it’s about showing Trump and his MAGA allies that we won’t back down, even when they shut down the government.
